About the editors

In 1995, a friend convinced me to join him in coaching a handball youth team (male, under 13 years of age). This was the beginning of my career as a team handball coach. Ever since I enjoyed working as a coach and had high requirements concerning my exercises. Soon, the standard pool of exercises wasn’t enough for me anymore and I started to modify and develop drills myself.

Today, I coach a broad range of youth and adult teams with different performance levels and adjust my training units to the individual needs of the teams.

I have been selling my exercises and drills online at handball-uebungen.de for more than 10 years. Since, in handball training, there is a tendency towards a general athletic training that focuses on coordination work – especially in the training of youth teams –, a large number of my games and exercises can be applied to other sports as well.

• Ongoing: Organization of technical training camps for field players and goalkeepers, further training for coaches, club coachings, etc. under direction of handball-uebungen.de.
• 2017-2019: Youth coach at HG Oftersheim/Schwetzingen (Germany)
• Since July 2012: A-License, German Handball Association (Deutscher Handballbund, DHB)
• As of November 2011: Editor (handball-uebungen.de, Handball Practice, and Special Handball Practice)
• 2008-2010: Youth coordinator and youth coach, SG Leutershausen (Germany)
• Since 2006: B-License

• Since 2017: Certified DHB young talents’ coach for competitive areas
• Since 2016: A-License, German Handball Association (Deutscher Handballbund, DHB)
• Since 2014: Trainer/lecturer at TuS Lintfort, HK Mönchengladbach, TSV Kaldenkirchen, and ATV Biesel (all in Germany)
• 2010: Assistant coach at TuS Lintfort with promotion to the second national handball league (Germany)
• 2009: Coach of the female under-19 handball team at Neusser HV (Germany) with qualification for the regional league
• Since 2005: Team handball coach

Motivation:
Durch meine gesammelte Erfahrung als Spieler und Trainer möchte ich meine Begeisterung an unserem Sport weitergeben und mit Ziel und Spaß Spieler und Spielerinnen bestmöglich fördern und weiterentwickeln.
